The “Mod 8” module
This week, the CTTC is running a continuing education course for trainees from a variety of fields.
The “Mod8: Technical ceramics: associated materials and processes” module explores the stages involved in manufacturing a ceramic part. It covers the different forming methods (dry, liquid or plastic). The course also teaches how to select and dose the right additives for each technology.
Participants learn how to adapt heat treatment cycles to previously shaped parts. They also discover the best methods for characterizing powders or ceramic materials.
Over the course of the week, participants will acquire the skills they need to identify the properties required for their particular applications. This module perfectly combines theory with practical application on CTTC equipment.
